Daylily is the common name of the species, hybrids and cultivars of the genus Hemerocallis. The name Hemerocallis comes from the Greek meaning beautiful for a day. The flowers of most species open at sunrise and wither at sunset, possibly replaced by another one on the same stem the next day. These plants are perennial; they are often described as the perfect perennial! They like at least four hours of sun a day and an inch of water a week. |
| These
are some of the daylilies that are available at CovenTree
Gardens from May 2010. They are potted up and ready to be transplanted
to your garden. |
